Code of Agreement
(COA)
Visitors
to the Circle of Innervisions (INVS) generate content in chat
rooms, message boards, etc. It is essential that this content
comply with INVS Community Standards*. INVS reserves the right
to remove any content if in our best judgment, it does not meet
these standards. Strong language or sexually explicit conduct
are not appropriate in any area of the INVS Forum.
The following guidelines apply:
IM'ing (instant
messaging) any Reader in room when they are working, is strictly
prohibited. Failure to follow this rule will result in not being
read, being ignored, all chat gagged, and/or being ejected from
the room for the remainder of the calendar day. Repeat
occurrences may result in the guest being banned from the circle
of innervisions.com forum
*Language: Mild expletives and non-sexual anatomical references
are allowed, however blatantly vulgar language, crude or
explicit sexual references, hate speech, etc. will not be
tolerated..
*Nudity: Photos containing revealing attire or nudity are not
acceptable.
*Sex/Sensuality: There is a difference between affection and
vulgarity. There is also a difference between a discussion of
the health or emotional aspects of sex, using appropriate
language, as opposed to crude conversations about sex. The first
is acceptable, while the latter is not. For example, in a
discussion about forms of cancer, the words "breast" or
"testicular" would be acceptable, but slang versions of those
words are not acceptable anywhere, or at anytime!
Violence and drug abuse: Graphic images, blood/gore, gratuitous
violence, etc., are not acceptable in this forum. Discussions
about coping with drug abuse in a scheduled chat may be
appropriate, but discussions or depictions of illegal drug
abuse, that imply it is acceptable, are not.
Guests are to be reminded that these are only guidelines, and
that there is always a "gray area." All guests should use their
best judgment by asking themselves if a statement or action is
something that they would say/do in a room full of people they
have never met, or in their place of business. Ultimately,
however, INVS makes the final determination as to whether or not
content is considered to be objectionable.
Good judgment is essential, especially when encountering the
opinions of others. INVS does not endorse nor oppose opinions
expressed by guests. However, INVS reserves the right to take
issue with the manner in which an opinion is expressed.
Hate speech is never allowed.
While in The Circle of Innervisions Forum, a guest's conduct
should be guided by common sense and basic etiquette. A guest
will be considered in violation of this Code of Agreement (COA)
if they do any of the following:
Post, transmit, promote, or distribute content that is illegal.
Post, transmit, promote, distribute or facilitate distribution
of content intended to victimize, harass, degrade or intimidate
an individual or group of individuals on the basis of age
disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual
disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion or sexual
orientation.
Hate speech is unacceptable anywhere in this Forum.
Disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms with vulgar language,
abusiveness, hitting the return key repeatedly or
inputting large images so the screen goes by too fast to read,
etc. INVS considers this online disruption, which ruins the chat
experience for others.
Impersonation. Guests may not impersonate another guest
(including celebrities), an INVS employee, or an INVS Host.
Doing so will result in the guest being permanently blocked from
access to the Circle of Innervisions Forum.
A guest may not use the Guest Directory or any other area of
INVS to harvest or collect information, including INVS member
screen names. The use of such information for the purpose of
sending unsolicited bulk email is strictly prohibited.
All guests must adhere to the INVS Privacy Policy. When a guest
enters any area of the INVS forum, it is important to be polite
and utilize Netiquette. "Netiquette" is Internet etiquette that
is used universally on the Internet. If there is a disagreement
between guests, each should respond to the subject, not the
person. All guests must obey local, state, federal, foreign or
international online and offline laws, as appropriate, when they
are in the INVS forum. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. INVS
has zero tolerance for illegal behavior in this foreign or
international online and offline laws will be permanently
blocked from the INVS forum. INVS will fully cooperate with law
enforcement officials on such matters. Guests should bear in
mind that some areas of the INVS forum, like message boards and
the Guest Directory, are public, and that all visitors to the
forum have access to posted material and could therefore copy,
modify or distribute this information. By submitting content in
these public areas, each guest essentially grants to INVS the
complete right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, etc. the
content in whole or in part, anywhere.
The Circle of Innervisions Inc., has given the Innervisions
team special prefixes as a part of their screen names so that
they are easy to identify. If a guest should see an Innervisions
team member, they will notice that the team members screen names
have the prefix INVS.
In addition, management of the circle of innervisions inc. have
been given the prefix of COIV. If you see someone with that
prefix before their name and have a question, they are fully
qualified to answer any questions about the
circle of innervisions.com website.
