     We all have 7 major chakras, (in addition to numerous more subtle lesser chakras). Beginning  at the base of the spine, and ending at the crown of the head. They correspond and vibrate with the 7 physical color rays, in addition to vibrating with the 7 tones of the diatonic musical scale (e.g.. do, re. mi etc...)

      Another function of the chakra system is controlling the  emotional seats of the being. Physically they  regulate  the “ductless”  or endocrine glandular  system of the corporal being.

      There is a new chakra that has been emerging since the “dawning” of the Age of Aquarius in the mid 1980’s. This “8th” or “thorax” chakra will be fully emerged by the year 2012. The year the “New Age” will be officially birthed. This date also marks the end of the Mayan Calendar.   The “thorax” chakra will govern the immune system and will harmonize or vibrate  with the over and/or undertones of the other 7 major and 5 minor chakras.

      Chakras also function as pumps and valves regulating the flow of the numerous subtle energies and life force systems.

      The functioning of the chakras whether  open or closed, clear, muddied, large or undersized make a tremendous impact on how we perceive, experience and reciprocate within our lives and all surrounding it. They affect every decision we make, the choices how we respond, and physically, how we react to all experiences on every level of consciousness.

      This is why it is so imperative to have clear, uncontaminated chakras. If they are closed or un-attuned that is how we experience life around us. If they are translucent, unpolluted and wide open  that is also how we walk our path.
